April 21, 2009 Benning Yard Derailment

On Tuesday April 21, 2009, a lite power power move derailed in Benning Yard resulting in CSXT 4594 landing on its engineer's side. No crew members were injured. In addition to the usual hand rail damage, the cab has been shifted above the top of the nose and the radiators and dynamic brake portions of the long hood also sustained damage.
